Federal Waters Open September 1: More Species, Same Great Trip

You already know red snapper. Maybe you have boated a grouper too. That is a good day on the water, and it is the trip most people book without thinking twice.

But starting September 1, the real variety kicks in.

Federal waters open back up that day, and it changes what you can target. Once we clear nine miles offshore, trigger fish and amberjack join red snapper on the list. Three species, one trip, a lot more action.
